Dedicated Research Extractor

KLAS Research is a company of experts. Our experts collect data, build relationships, oversee data quality, analyze data, and write reports. All these people play critical roles in our mission to improve the world’s healthcare. KLAS extractors are no exception. Without them, we’re not sure the data would ever be submitted, and what good would that do?

Researchers who receive help from extractors have this to say about the importance of the role:

“I am THRILLED to have someone helping me with extraction. It frees up so much time and attention to put toward what my main responsibilities are at KLAS.”

“Since receiving help with extraction I can focus on gathering the data and giving back to providers. It has probably saved me 5 hours per week.”

What an extractor does:

  • Extract key commentary from transcribed research calls
  • Categorize data into differentiating groupings
  • Ensure that our data is non-identifying
  • Submit high quality data for review
  • Monitor transcribed calls for training opportunities
  • Enable researchers to focus on building provider and vendor relationships

What makes a great extractor:

  • High urgency for completing tasks on time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver feedback
  • Dedication to nothing but the highest quality data
  • An ability and desire to rapidly learn new and broad-reaching healthcare and technology-related concepts
  • Natural detail orientation and hard work
  • The capacity to thrive in a self-directed environment
  • Strong desire to understand and ask questions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to type at least 60 WPM

Our team of extractors is dedicated to completing their work in a timely manner. They take ownership of their projects and use their resources to find the answers that they need. Our extractors are fun and now how to balance work with the joy that comes from themed office decorations, cat memes and excellent treats.
