Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Support the mission, goals and vision of the Utah Shakespeare Festival.

2. Create expense reports for all Festival departments.

3. Coordinate and reconcile paperwork and transactions on the USF purchasing card.

4. Serve as the Guild Liaison to coordinate the donated items for the retail shop and provide two-way communication about Guild and Festival activities. Coordinate the receipt of Guild donations with the Development team at USF.

5. Coordinate organizational presence at community events like City Council, volunteer organizations, Chamber of Commerce, etc.

6. Provide supervision for seasonal retail and concessions operations, including hiring, cash handling training and oversight, and supporting these operations with the practices and policies of the business department at USF and SUU.

7. Supervise the guest services department, including support and communication with this department, supporting these operations with the practices and policies of the business department at USF and SUU.

8. Serve in an advisory and support role for business practices relating to the Education Department at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, including all hiring, scheduling, and communication with other Festival departments regarding education programming.

9. Assist in the hiring process for seasonal employees. Assist with agreements and contracts related to hiring employees, independent contractors, union members, and seasonal employees in an efficient and accurate way.

10. Coordinate compliance with Federal, State, and University hiring laws and policies and ensure I-9 verification and compliance for all employees.

11. Coordinate travel for seasonal company, as needed.

12. Assist with company management or artist services functions.

13. Organize and attend scheduled USF Board of Governors meetings, including coordination of meeting arrangements, locations, transportation, board materials, etc. Prepare, and distribute minutes of those meetings and other special meetings as needed; monitor, and distribute incoming communications, and provide information to board members as needed. Assist as needed in the Board fund-raising galas as well as other special events.

14. Maintain familiarity with Board of Governors members as well as knowledge of high profile donors and friends to the Festival.

15. Maintain knowledge of SUU policies as related to USF.
