Analytical Senior Consultant

Posted: 10/09/2020

This job is much broader than the title implies. We need a strong analyst and a strong story teller – someone who can sit down with client executives and lead them to solutions that improve their healthcare IT products and services.

We are seeking a customer advocate, adept at resonating with audiences and supporting findings and recommendations with data. In this position you will:

Find the story. You regularly contact healthcare providers and obtain their feedback on the performance of healthcare technology. While doing this you build meaningful relationships with these providers and give back industry insights. We call this research, and it takes about 20-25% of the job.

Understand the story. You analyze the research findings on a subject and expose the key messages from within the data so that action can be taken by clients to improve. This is about 65-70% of the job.

Tell the story. Finally, you will present these findings to client executive teams, guiding discussions that lead to and underscore improvement opportunities. This is about 10-15% of the job.

If you have the right character and approach, you can make a real and individual impact on improving healthcare.

You must demonstrate that you:

  • Have done your homework and understand KLAS and this role
  • Have resilience
  • Are a customer advocate, a presentation expert, a researcher, and a data scientist – all rolled into one
  • Are a masterful storyteller and can effectively manage rooms of strong-willed audiences
  • Are intellectually hungry
  • Can prepare for and deliver between 30-40 consulting engagements each year
  • Live the values we embrace at KLAS

  • Consistent experience in presenting data to and influencing top-level decision makers
  • Knowledge of presentation and consulting best practices
  • Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field that requires research & analysis
  • Master’s degree a plus

This is a full time, in-office position with excellent benefits, including medical, HSA, dental, vision, life, PTO, 401K, paid holidays, wellness programs, and more.

If you're well-suited for this role, please provide a meaningful cover letter and a concise resume.
