Senior Social Media Manager (Remote, Fulll-Time)


As a Senior Social Media Manager at Chatbooks, you’ll oversee strategy across current and emerging social media platforms to drive brand affinity and revenue.

What You’ll Be Doing...

    • Serve as a senior strategist of the Chatbooks brand on social media, driving the approach to optimize our voice across all social channels
    • Be an early and eager adopter to emerging platforms, ensuring we show up first in new social spheres
    • Work across the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling assets (photo, graphic, video, etc.) for key campaigns across each social platformIdeate social-first marketing campaigns that feel organic to individual social platforms to drive brand awareness and conversion
    • Work closely with the Content team to craft engaging social content that fosters brand love from followers, while surprising and delighting new top of funnel eyeballs
    • Share social insights with the The MomForce podcast team to inform their posting strategy
    • Collaborate with leaders across Marketing to uplevel messaging for new products, promotions, channels, features, etc.
    • Anticipate and initiate reporting and analysis and deliver results and feedback to cross-functional partners 
    • Develop and own processes and reporting to the broader organization to ensure that the voice of the Chatbooker on social is shared with — and acted upon — by key partner functions including Product, Content and more
    • Oversee social partnerships that result in increased, high caliber followersProvide mentorship and leadership to social media team members and hire & manage interns
    • Act as a key owner of the business KPIs, proactively crafting strategies and executing initiatives sought at driving growth and performance


    • 5+ years of experience managing social media marketing, preferably with a D2C brand
    • Early adopter (and obsessor) of new platforms, systems and tools for creating content nimbly.
    • Track record of driving results through creating and managing social media content, audience development and engagement
    • Has an eye for design and compelling imagery that stops the scroll and captures eyeballs
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior leaders
    • Knowledge of and a passion for parenting, trending news, culture and social media topics that influence consumer behavior
    • Ability to use a strong data-orientation and analytical mindset, coupled with creative thinking to generate compelling and engaging social content
    • Creative, strategic and collaborative approach to problem solving
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to write clear compelling content and use storytelling to build engagement
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
