Who We’re Looking For

Insurance Operations Manager, Salt Lake City

It takes a particular type of person—one incredibly focused on developing and maintaining processes—to improve the experience for both our internal sales agents and external policyholders. If you have in-depth knowledge of insurance operations, a passion for process, and experience leading with authority, we need you on our team. 

As Clearlink’s Insurance Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing efficient processes as well as collaborating with the sales team and finance to ensure the support processes create the maximum mutual benefit for both units.

 

Breaking Down Your Day-to-Day 

  • Establish a clear vision for the supervisors and team leads directly reporting to you
  • Maintain and exceed operational KPIs for the licensing, welcome team, service, retention, fulfillment, and compliance
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to increase household policy density
  • Support all initiatives and offer guidance on operations
  • Identify and integrate new ways of using technology to streamline processes
  • Act as the subject matter expert within QA, Service and Retention
  • Define optimal team capacity based on the demands of the business
  • Hire, develop, and retain a qualified team 
  • Hold team members accountable for goals, deadlines, and communication
  • Develop and document processes, standards and KPIs
  • Meet with weekly management to review KPIs and set expectations
  • Maintain open communication with all insurance departments
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
     

 What You Need

  • 1-year prior insurance customer service or quality experience
  • 1-year prior sales experience
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Hold at least a Health or P&C license and be able to obtain the other license within 90 days
  • Knowledge of operational processes and KPIs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat,
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • The desire—and ability—to collaborate
