Who We’re Looking For - Content Coordinator

The Content Coordinator supports all content marketing efforts related to Portent. They will help drive the agency’s marketing strategy forward by both executing on tasks in accordance with the quarterly roadmap and looking for opportunities for improvements along the way. They are successful if they are producing meaningful content, supporting on- and off-page optimization strategies, and getting tasks completed as they work to help build the Portent brand.

What You’ll Do

  • help execute a long-term content marketing strategy and roadmap
  • Lead the editorial process for the Portent blog, including collaboration with our marketing subject-matter experts to review outlines, edit content, and publish posts, ensuring deadlines are met consistently.
  • Help build, edit, and publish impactful pieces of content on that demonstrate our work and expertise, such as case studies, hub pages, and other resources
  • Implement SEO and CRO recommendations across our site to improve our content and user experience.
  • Assist the social media team with content and graphic assets for campaigns as needed.
  • Create, publish, and maintain all online bios for Portent employees.

What You Need

  • 1-2 years of digital marketing experience, with an emphasis on content production and promotion
  • Ability to support the content creation process from conceptualization through execution
  • Understanding of how to use digital marketing to promote content
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects and priorities with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively tell stories and suggest creative solutions
  • Experience within Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
  • Beginner knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Solid understanding of content features in WordPress or other CRMs
  • Strong and professional communication skills - you’ll need to share updates and ideas proactively and with clarity and confidence
