Who We’re Looking For – Marketing Specialist

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? If you’re eager to break into the industry or are coming from a marketing agency and looking to gain exposure and direct experience across a broad range of marketing initiatives and subject areas, this is the opportunity for you.

As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Manager of Special Projects and other individual marketing specialists partnering with diverse marketing teams to support the growth of the business. You will aid in the development of brand campaigns supporting acquisition and retention efforts. The Marketing Specialist will provide support in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of various marketing initiatives, working collaboratively with the broader marketing organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Build opportunity, competitive, and market analysis
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Assist in inbound marketing activities through proven understanding in the areas of local SEO, digital PR and outreach, and data collection and analysis
  • Local SEO functions including keyword research, local listing management, site and listing audits, review management, and local link acquisition
  • Improve site rankings and increase brand awareness through outreach and digital PR
  • Build outreach email lists for content promotion campaigns

What You Need

  • AS in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing or a related field
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and overall flexibility
  • Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and willingness to take on additional responsibility
  • Intermediate Local SEO tools, Google Analytics, and Excel skills
