We’re seeking a data-focused paid search marketer who can think strategically and bridge the gap between their affinity for problem-solving and the paid search process. Candidates should have a strong interest in marketing and specific experience within paid media, as well as strong written and verbal communication.

As a Senior Paid Search Specialist, you will work hand-in-hand with large, industry-leading clients to develop successful search campaigns and drive volume to multiple web properties across our client portfolio.

What You’ll Do

  • Create & implement search account and campaign strategies to drive consistent volume and revenue growth for Clearlink’s client relationships
  • Build and optimize search campaigns and communicate trends and findings to partners
  • Identify and execute ad creative and landing page A/B testing to improve performance and drive efficiencies through multiple sales channels; understanding of UX testing tools & products
  • Lead regular, client-facing communication and provide regular client-facing reports
  • Plan & execute audience strategies to target customers and deliver tailored messaging using existing and emerging channels (search, display, social)
  • Regularly test bid solutions and targeting methods to ensure search campaigns are performing at optimal levels towards key goals
  • Regularly test ad copy and extensions, landing pages, and improvements to areas within the marketing funnel
  • Collaborate with marketing teams, client-facing associates, sales professionals, and finance groups to achieve results and improve brand and channel P&L performance
  • Track and report on the competitive landscape, seek to understand and communicate industry trends and primary competitor shifts to key partners and clients
  • Model business impacts and assist in both RFP creation and new-client onboarding, where necessary; forecast new volume opportunities within current client relationships to assist future growth
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute on development of new vendors and technologies for the paid media channel, alongside paid media director and paid search channel manager
  • Track ongoing campaign performance against established critical metrics and find opportunities for improvement
  • Provide mentoring, guidance and training to the SEM team

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Analytics, Communications, Finance, or closely related field
  • A minimum four years’ experience in paid media: search, display, and/or paid social (agency experience a plus)
  • Proven results in driving volume growth, cost reduction and hitting/exceeding client conversion goals through implementing paid search strategy and tactics
  • Experience working with scripts, automation solutions and various bid management platforms.
  • Experience assisting with the onboarding of new client relationships: creating client goals and identifying strategy and growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency in keyword research and competitive analysis tools (including but not limited to): SEMrush, Spyfu, Google Trends, Keyword Planner, SearchMonitor)
  • A deep understanding of landing page standard methodologies, UX testing, and conversion rate optimization techniques
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to compile data and visuals into compelling client and partner reports
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to lead regular client-facing communications and share results to executive-level leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Google products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Sheets, Docs etc.).
