Studio Technician/Camera Operator

    This job is for a studio camera operator and floor/stage manager. The candidate must have a solid understanding of television production values.
  • Operate a studio camera for live and live-to-tape productions
  • Stage/Floor manage
  • Operate the studio lighting consoles
  • Assist Studio Manager with lighting and lighting board
  • Assist Studio Manager with the setup & strike of studio sets
  • Assist Studio Manager with the maintenance and cleaning of the studios and prop rooms
  • Communicate and work effectively with other team members
  • Maintain a safe, clean and professional studio environment
  • Follow all OSHA guidelines for ladder, lift and chemical safety 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • A minimum 1 year of experience in studio production or equivalent.  
  • The candidate must have excellent camera skills and be able to operate with confidence in a live television environment. In addition to camera operation, the candidate must demonstrate a basic understanding of studio lighting and stage-managing. You must have a valid Utah Driver’s License. Must be able to lift/carry 40 lbs. Must be able to climb a ladder and use an electric lift.
