If you’re a tech-savvy writer and problem solver who can construct clean, thoughtful prose and has expertise in internet connectivity and home networking, we want to hear from you.

As a Staff Writer on, you’ll help people with unique internet needs find outside-the-box connectivity solutions for their life. You’ll need a knack for writing about complex topics in an accessible way, and the know-how to think user-first when crafting consumer-focused content, including internet service reviews, product comparisons, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs. You’ll need to be diligent on timelines, persistent in your research, and insistent that you present your readers with perfectly accurate information.

Our ideal candidates will have digital writing experience in journalism, digital media, and/or content marketing, with a preference for candidates who have covered tech and internet connectivity. If you can get excited over low-Earth orbit satellite internet, portable hotspots, and data caps, then you’re on the right track.

What You'll Do

  • Research, test, and review internet products and services
  • Facilitate and pitch creative ideas to help internet users
  • Write both long- and short-form content across multiple channels (organic search, video, email, social, etc.)
  • Ensure content aligns with brand positioning, voice, and project type
  • Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, project managers, developers, and marketing managers
  • Balance numerous projects with competing timelines
  • Supervise and analyze the performance of content

What You Need

  • 3+ years proven experience in digital media, journalism, content marketing, or related field showing the ability to consistently deliver clean copy on spec and on time
  • A demonstrable passion for all things internet and tech (preferably in direct relation to journalism or blogging)
  • A drive to grow your professional skills, and to learn about new and emerging technologies
  • The ability to take and provide constructive and positive feedback
  • An agile mentality
  • A willingness and ability to collaborate
  • A knack for solving complex problems
  • A strong grasp of marketing trends
  • An understanding of which language, structure, and value propositions will resonate with our readers
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Airtable, and similar software applications
