Who We’re Looking For – Business Development Representative (Remote)

Our ideal candidate is driven and determined to help us make an impact in the U.S. market. As a Business Development Representative, you are the first person to talk to our future clients and therefore at the forefront of our success. You are responsible for driving the revenue pipeline by creating qualified new business meetings. The opportunities come from outbound sales activities as well as following up on inbound leads. To do this successfully, a creative, open, and tailored approach is required. The intrinsic drive, sincere interest in people and their challenges will put you ahead.

The goal for this role is to be able to not only get the meetings on the agenda but also to create the pitch and a storyline that sticks. Next to that, you will be immersed in the world of automation, self-service, insight analytics, and digital learning. You will become an expert when it comes to improving the Digital Customer Experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform outbound sales activities related to marketing campaigns, lead follow-up, and opportunity qualification
  • Nurture and qualify leads (via phone, e-mail, social) with the goal of scheduling high-value appointments for the sales team
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve and optimize end-to-end lead management and other sales and marketing processes
  • Identify key pieces of information about the prospective companies that will be helpful in the sales process
  • Facilitate, participate, and (ultimately independently) execute discovery meetings
  • Effectively manage leads, including keeping our CRM up to date, towards becoming sales qualified
  • Closely collaborate with the extended Sales team and the Marketing team

What You Need

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a sales or customer-facing position
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Have a track record that shows drive and stamina
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a self-starter
  • Fluent/native English
  • Knowledge of the benefits of automation/RPA is a plus
