Who We’re Looking For – Paid Media Director – Social & Native

The Consumer Brands division within Clearlink helps millions of people find and compare the best products for their needs. We’ve experienced significant growth in recent years, and we’re adding a paid social & native powerhouse into the mix. Contribute to over $50 million in media spend while working closely with a team of expert media buyers, SEO’s, designers, and marketing connoisseurs. We’re no agency. The ideal candidate has experience promoting content and crafting ad campaigns on a number of social media and publisher platforms. They are focused on the impact of their work and demonstrate value across all parts of the marketing funnel. We fight for the user so thinking strategically about UX is key to adding value for both our partners and our users. A strong creative writing and ad testing background will be helpful in iterating on messaging and championing new content ideas. This candidate passionate abouted about learning the ins and outs of well-established brands in order to reach that customer base via paid social. We don’t expect to slow our growth either, so experience leading and developing teams while collaborating across groups is definitely a plus.

What You’ll Do

  • Pilot paid social & native content promotion initiatives
  • Work closely with partner strategy to understand monetization and identify growth opportunities with advertisers
  • Report on channel performance to demonstrate business impact on all parts of the marketing funnel
  • Incorporate findings from Clearlink’s broader paid media strategy spending over $50 million annually on well-known brands like,,,, and more
  • Champion new content ideas that fit our ad strategy and create a cohesive brand message across all channels
  • Test ad copy, creative, and landing page to improve performance as well as user experience.
  • Understand key audiences to align ad messaging & creative with user behavior
  • Coordinate with our broader social media and outreach teams on common goals
  • Seek inspiration from innovative advertising strategies and stay up to date on industry news
  • Grow a team that can help execute paid social strategy across a number of brands

What You Need

  • At least five years of experience managing paid media campaigns
  • An eye for detail and a mind for analytics
  • Balance of technical and interpersonal skills
