Robert Burch is Executive Director of Sema Hadithi African American Heritage and Culture, researching African American history in Utah. He is the Principal of Sema Hadithi, LLC. He served in the U. S. Navy, receiving the Expeditionary Cross as part of the U.S. Peacekeeping force in the Mediterranean. His professional life was in sales, customer service, food safety, and corporate compliance.
Robert is a Utah Board of State History member, VP of Sons and Daughters of the United States Middle Passage, Committee Member of Brigham Young Racial Reconciliation Ministry, and former UT Chapter President and Board Member of the Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society. He is versed in genealogical and historical research in the Americas and Caribbean.
Robert was born in Atlanta, Georgia, attended Talladega College, and joined Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He married Alice Mae Faulkner in the Salt Lake City Temple. They reside in West Valley City, Utah.
