It is with deep sorrow that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our friend, colleague, and former board member, Dr. Yolanda “Nikki” Walker.
Nikki’s service to the Utah Black Chamber was marked by vision, passion, and a steadfast commitment to uplifting others. As a former Board Member and Chair of our Small Business Advisory Committee, she was instrumental in shaping our approach to economic empowerment and inclusion. Her contributions extended far beyond the boardroom—Nikki was a champion for authenticity, a mentor to many, and a trusted voice in spaces where it was needed most.
As we grieve this tremendous loss, we invite individuals to join us in honoring her memory by coordinating support for the repast that will follow the memorial services.
